The aquatic center<\/strong> , designed by architect Zaha Hadid<\/a> , has a capacity of 17,500 people<\/strong> and features an undulating roof<\/strong> covering the competition and diving pools, as well as the main hall. The third pool, intended for training, is located beneath the Stratford City Bridge, and its building harmonizes with the curves of the main venue. Additional wings have been added for the Games to provide extra seating<\/strong> , but these will be removed after the Olympics. <\/p>\n
