We recently completed the full renovation of a swimming pool that was over 40 years old<\/strong> . The 10 x 5 meter pool, 3 meters deep,<\/strong> was in poor condition; the basin had cracks and was leaking a lot of water. With water and cost savings in mind<\/strong> , we proposed reducing the pool’s depth to 2.10 meters. This would also result in savings on chemicals and maintenance, as well as a slight increase in water temperature during the summer. <\/p>\n

Below, we show you, step by step, the process<\/strong> we have followed at Reindesa<\/a> for its rehabilitation:<\/p>\n

– First we break up the terrace and demolish a short side<\/strong> of 5 meters and extend the pool by 2 meters more to obtain a pool of 12 x 4.70 meters.<\/p>\n

– We raised the floor and carried out a new shotcrete application<\/strong> inside the basin.<\/p>\n

We took the opportunity to install lighting in the pool. To substantially improve the light and drastically reduce energy consumption , we installed LED spotlights<\/strong> instead of the traditional halogen lamp. <\/p>\n

– We redo the entire plumbing and filtration system with ten atmosphere pressure pipes<\/strong> and sections suitable for updated filtration.<\/p>\n
