And while it might surprise you, it&#8217;s a recurring problem. Orange or brown stains <strong>are due to the presence of metal oxides in the water<\/strong> (mainly iron and manganese, as well as copper and\/or tannins), and often this is because the water used to fill the pool is well water.  <\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">All these minerals oxidize when they come into contact with the disinfectant used in the pool.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">What should we do?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ensure that the levels of disinfectant used are at <strong>0 ppm<\/strong> before applying the product.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Use a <strong>METAL SEQUESTER<\/strong> : <strong>1kg of MULTI STAIN REMOVER<\/strong> per 50m3<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Apply directly<\/strong> to the stained area or distribute it around the perimeter of the pool.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">If the pool is made of liner, reinforced membrane, or fiberglass <strong>, DO NOT POUR<\/strong> directly. Place the product inside a cloth bag and suspend it with a string as close as possible to the stain. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It is important to wash the filter and <strong>let the filtration run for 24 hours<\/strong> until you get clear, clean water.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 300;\">And now you have a pool ready for a splash, without any color stains!
