Yes, the presence of algae in the water is what causes <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">our pool water to turn greenish, with green, brown, or even black spots<\/span> . <\/p>\n<p>To solve the problem, a superficial cleaning won&#8217;t be enough; we&#8217;ll need to do a deep clean to remove the stains and the greenish tint to the water. How? <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\">First, we&#8217;ll check the stabilizer level in the water (you can use stabilizer test strips).
