Today, we&#8217;re here to explain how to protect your pool from the rain.  <\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">One of our recommendations is to prepare for winter in advance so that the storms don&#8217;t become a threat. We&#8217;ll tell you how to prevent and how to deal with them. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.reindesa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Lluvia-Piscina.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2308\" src=\"https:\/\/www.reindesa.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/Lluvia-Piscina.jpg\" alt=\"Rain Pool\" width=\"4811\" height=\"2855\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The main problems caused by rain in swimming pools:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">pH and chlorine alteration<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Deterioration of water quality<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Dirt in the pool<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Flooding in technical huts and engine room.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">These main problems caused by rain can have consequences such as the proliferation of algae and the appearance of fungi and bacteria that can alter the state of the water, turning it into a greenish color.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">This is a consequence of the rain, which together with the wind fills the pool with dirt, stones, dry leaves and sand.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">That is why it is necessary to anticipate the rains and take some precautions to protect the pool and prevent the water condition from worsening.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">What to do with the pool when it rains<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">As we mentioned, the best option is to be prepared. That&#8217;s why we recommend <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piscinasreindesa.com\/tienda\/piscinas\/accesorios\/cubiertas-y-enrolladores\">protecting your pool with a cover<\/a> to shield it from heavy rain and prevent it from getting dirty. <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Furthermore, pool covers have a long lifespan, as we can use them every winter and keep the pool in good condition so that starting it up in summer is very simple and convenient.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li dir=\"ltr\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">If you don&#8217;t have a pool cover, all the wind and rain will likely blow a lot of debris into your pool. The best option? Use the pool vacuum as a drain to avoid damaging the filter, and you&#8217;ll also lower the water level that will have risen with the rain. Voila!
