Last Monday, Oscar Méndez from BEQH – a renowned company that manufactures chemical products and specialties for water treatment – gave a course on pool water treatment to the entire team of maintenance technicians and store staff of Reindesa.
The course focused on presenting alternatives to traditional disinfection using chlorine tablets and on other more technical aspects such as the control and analysis of free chlorine, water hardness, alkalinity, cyanuric acid, copper and iron.
Chlorine, while a traditional disinfection method, has its drawbacks. At Reindesa, we believe it’s important to go a step further and explore healthier alternatives while also avoiding unnecessary water consumption.
