How to prevent mold growth and wear and tear on the cover of heated swimming pools?

Heated swimming pools require special maintenance compared to outdoor pools because they produce vapors that can affect the surrounding environment and, consequently, nearby materials . The environmental conditions they create also commonly promote mold growth.

The first thing we must do when we have a heated swimming pool is to control the humidity it generates, as it can also be harmful to our health. This is achieved by installing dehumidifiers and a good ventilation system .

Installing windows in the walls will make it easier to maintain healthy air quality, but we know that for many of you this isn’t possible. In that case , a dehumidifier will be essential. There are different types to suit various needs, ranging from integrated or console systems to ducted units.

Once the installation is completed, we will be able to control the thermohygrometric conditions and therefore provide comfort to the bathers, prevent condensation of steam and limit the evaporation of the pool water.

Now you know the importance of avoiding high humidity levels to maintain the environment, space and well-being of bathers in your heated pool.
