Spring is just around the corner, bringing with it warmer weather and unexpected dips in the pool. So, it’s time to get to work and check the condition of our swimming pools. What might happen? We might find the water cloudy or greenish at the waterline when we go for a swim. While this can be unpleasant, it’s a common occurrence when we stop using the pool and don’t maintain it regularly.
The reason this happens is that the waterline is more prone to limescale, grease, and algae deposits , and for that reason, it’s the part that contains the most dirt. But, as always, there’s an easy solution:

The first thing we’ll do is check the stabilizer level in the water. You can use stabilizer test strips that are placed in the water.
If the value is above 75 mg/l, drain some of the pool water. Or, visit any Reindesa store to have your water parameters analyzed.

Next, we verify that the pH level of the water is controlled at 7.4. If not, you can adjust it with PH+ Sodic Pool Reindesa or PH- Acid Pool Reindesa .

We will perform a shock treatment with a specific coagulant for oils and fats.

We put the system into continuous filtration 24 hours a day for two days.

We clean the stains at the waterline (also known as the waterline) with a specific cleaner.

If the problem persists, we will try a shock treatment with granular ANTI-chlorine fast .

Finally, we vacuum the pool, rinse the filter, and let the filtration run for 24 hours until we get clear, clean water.
