A guarantee for the future of community facilities. In this comprehensive pool renovation in Barcelona, we put an end to the chronic problems of water loss through a thorough process of waterproofing and reinforcing the pool shell.<7b> We not only ensured watertightness, but also completely renovated the aesthetics with vibrant blue mosaic tiles and new non-slip coping stones. The result is a safe, efficient, and visually refreshed pool that increases the property's value and improves the quality of life for all residents.
The original pool dates from the mid-1980s. It measures 16 x 8 meters and has depths ranging from 1 meter to 2.8 meters. Due to uneven ground (differential settlement) and having only one skimmer, proper pool maintenance was very difficult and required continuous upkeep. The renovation included leveling the pool, installing new lining, new fixtures, and improvements to the filtration and automated chemical treatment system. At the same time, a new floor was laid to reduce the maximum depth.
We removed the existing lining and coping. We leveled the pool and increased the number of skimmers and nozzles. We repaired existing cracks in the pool shell. We opened channels around the entire pool and ran them to the equipment room. We installed all new pipes and all new equipment in the equipment room. We built a concrete staircase with a double handrail on one side to facilitate access to the pool.
Wall cladding made with 2.5x2.5 cm Reviglass brand mosaic tiles in a blue-green color. Anti-slip mosaic tiles of class C3 are installed on stairs and up to a height of 1.40m.

The crown was installed using machine-made rustic material. This opportunity was also taken to create the pool deck, as the difference in height due to differential settlement had resulted in a step. It was agreed to create a new slab, restoring the existing level but modifying it, and to cover the entire deck with the same material.
