It’s becoming increasingly common to see people with an iPhone in their hands, and this gadget has revolutionized the way we receive information and communicate. Apple also offers a wide range of apps to download and use the iPhone, transforming it from a phone into a computer. Tablets have joined this revolution, and in Apple’s case, the iPad. The world of swimming pools couldn’t be left behind and has also embraced the app trend. At Reindesa, we wanted to put together a short summary of our favorite apps. We hope you find them useful (and fun)!
Water analysis
– Pool boy
Enter your pool type and volume, and Pool Boy will help you measure the necessary chemicals. This app keeps a record of your pool analysis, allowing you to input pH, chlorine, and alkalinity readings, and view the results in a simple weekly, monthly, and yearly graph. It also lets you set up customizable alerts so you don’t forget tasks like adding chlorine or cleaning the filters.
The app is in English and costs €0.79 in its lite version, but if you need to manage more than one pool, the Pro version is available for €2.39.
Available for Phone and iPad
A similar but simpler version is Piscine Test. This very useful and easy-to-use application allows you to input your test results and calculate the amount of product you need, depending on the type of treatment. The treatments it offers are chlorine, bromine, and salt electrolysis, with the option to choose between solid or liquid. It also allows you to create different profiles for various pool shapes: oval, rectangular, etc., and to input the dimensions and depth.
The app is only available in French and is free.
