One of our tasks at this time of year is to re-grout and re-peel those swimming pools that need it to face the bathing season in perfect condition. Keeping the grout in perfect condition is also an essential part of maintaining your pool. Grouting a swimming pool is a matter of aesthetics and helps with the maintenance of the pool water. There is a misconception that grouting helps to make the pool watertight, but this is not the case, since the mosaic tiles and their corresponding grout do not perform any watertight work but are purely aesthetic. Maintaining the grout in your pool’s mosaic tiles in good condition will ensure the tiles stay in perfect shape, firmly bonded to the concrete, and prevent them from coming loose. A pool with empty grout lines accumulates a lot of dirt in the gaps between the tiles, giving it an undesirable, neglected appearance. Algae will form more easily, and cleaning will become much more difficult, as both manual and automatic pool cleaners won’t be able to properly vacuum the surface. At Reindesa we perform a complete pool cleaning with high-pressure machines using acids and descaling agents from our own professional-grade Reindesa brand . Once the cleaning is done, we apply the grout using top quality materials specifically for swimming pools. Our advice is to entrust the grouting and general maintenance of your pool to professionals in the sector, since grouting the floor of a terrace occasionally exposed to water is not the same as grouting the tiles of a pool, which is constantly submerged in water containing disinfectant chemicals such as chlorine or bromine and acids to maintain the pH at an optimal level.

Pool cleaners and the 3 types of robots for cleaning them
Spring is here, and with it comes the start of your pool season. At Reindesa, we offer all our products, along with our experience and professionalism, to help you make the most of your pool. Today, we’ll also be offering advice. We’re going to explain the three types of pool robots available so you can choose the one that best suits your needs, both in terms of quality and price. Introduction: Disinfection and cleaning of a swimming pool First of all, there are two key factors to consider in every swimming pool to get the most out of it. Automate these parameters and you’ll have a fully automatic pool . This can be achieved with relatively little money: I) Automatic Disinfection: For proper disinfection of your pool, it is necessary to disinfect and monitor the pH . Watch this video about Reindesa’s pool pH meter . In short, there are many methods of automatic disinfection, including: Electrolysis, Chlorine, Oxygen, Bromine, UVA, etc. Contact us for more information . Specifically, and as we recommend for individuals: – Through water electrolysis : pool salt. The most effective and simple way to disinfect your pool. Forget about chlorine tablets, carrying containers, bad odors, and red eyes. You can even install it yourself by purchasing the Zodiac Ei salt chlorinator. – Automatic pH Control : It’s relatively easy to automatically control the pH of your pool; it requires only the simple installation of an automatic pH regulator. Ask us how or request a quote. II) Automatic cleaning : we recommend our wide range of robotic pool cleaners from the best brands and at the best prices. The 3 basic types of robotic pool cleaners: 1) Robotic Pool Cleaners : These are the simplest and most economical . The system is very simple. They connect via hose directly to the pool ‘s vacuum system. These devices are not intelligent in the sense that they clean the pool randomly. In other words, they clean the pool randomly, circling around without recognizing that any area has already been cleaned. Therefore, they may pass over the same spot that’s already been cleaned. At the same time, a minor drawback is that they send the dirt directly back to us, where it accumulates in the pool filter, requiring us to clean it. Some suction-type pool cleaners: X7 Quattro, G+, Manta II, ATV, etc… There are 2 types of robot vacuum cleaners : a) Membrane or Suction Cup type: which rub against the floor of the pools. b) Attraction ones: they have wheels (sometimes with chains). 2) Electric Robots : There are several manufacturers and major brands. The main difference between these pool cleaners is that some clean the entire floor, while others clean both the floor and walls . Yes, they even clean the walls! These are somewhat more expensive than the previous models, but their main advantage is that they are autonomous and don’t clog the pool’s filtration system . The debris from our pool is collected in its own filter. They usually have two programs: a short one and a long one . The short one is approximately 1 hour long, while the long program usually lasts between 2 and 2.5 hours. – This is a smart pool cleaning robot: by placing the pool cleaner in the center of the pool, it calculates the width and length of the pool and will automatically start moving around the pool without missing any corner. Electric pool cleaners: Typhon, Indigo and the new and revolutionary Vortex with Zodiac quality. 3) Impulse Robots : These robots also connect to the pool’s vacuum port. However, instead of suctioning through the vacuum port, they propel water using an independent pump. This water pressure reaches the robot and creates a venturi effect. This allows the robot to adhere to the pool floor and collect debris along its body, depositing it into a bag. Cleaning the bag is very simple: it can be removed and emptied. They are also capable of climbing walls, and their price is mid-range, falling between electric and vacuum robots. IMPULSION pool cleaners: Polaris 280, Polaris X9. Polaris is undoubtedly the best option for propulsion. Summary of Advantages and Disadvantages of Different Types of Pool Cleaners Types of pool cleaners Advantages Disadvantages Robotic Vacuum Cleaners Low Price Dirt accumulated in the pool filter. NOT smart Electric Robots Automated and Intelligent: they can clean floors and walls High Price Robots Drive Easy to clean Average Price. P.S. At Reindesa , we only sell products that we have tested and that offer us the best guarantees. ENJOY YOUR POOL THIS SUMMER WITHOUT WORRYING ABOUT ANYTHING!!
SALT ELECTROLYSIS
Two of the most important points to consider in a swimming pool are cleaning and disinfection . There are many methods, robots, and gadgets for cleaning a swimming pool, and we’ll talk about them at another time. We also have many options for disinfecting our pool: traditional chlorine, bromine, UVA (ultraviolet) light, salt electrolysis, oxygen, etc. Reindesa recommends one system or another to its clients depending on the circumstances, environment, or characteristics of the pool. Of all the disinfection methods , saline electrolysis may be the most widely used in recent years. WHAT IS SALINE ELECTROLYSIS? Electrolysis consists of simulating the behavior of the sea in your pool. We lightly salt the water by adding common salt to your pool, in a proportion nine times less than that of salt in the sea, in a proportion similar to that of a tear. The chlorination cell carries out the electrolysis process by which salt (NaCl) is transformed into sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) dissolved in water, which is a powerful disinfectant that destroys all microorganisms that may be present in the water. The cell will automatically generate the free chlorine needed for your pool without needing to add anything other than salt to the water. ADVANTAGES OF SALT ELECTROLYSIS -It is an automatic system that disinfects your pool water without the need for control or the addition of any chemical product. -We have our own chlorine “factory” at home, which saves us a significant amount of money each year. – It is odorless, does not irritate the eyes or dry out the skin . You can be away for several days, even weeks, and you’ll find the pool just as you left it. Reindesa installed the first salt electrolysis device in 1990 and since then demand has continued to grow, making this device an almost indispensable helper for the care of your swimming pool.
