Do you already know how to keep your pool at low temperatures?

Although we know that having breakfast above a pool might sound strange but appealing, after a sub-zero weekend and your calls asking us what to do to avoid freezing, here are three tips to help you keep it active:

– Do not stop the circuit: Activate the filtration every two hours to prevent the water from standing still and freezing in the pipes.

– Break the surface layer of ice to prevent the thickness from expanding and breaking the mosaic tiles or cracking the pool.

– Leave some floating element in the pool (tires were used in the past, but floats, polystyrene or cork also work) to absorb the expansion of the ice.

We hope we’ve answered your questions, and remember that in these situations it’s important to keep children away. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us; we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!
